Masks for Mind Mental Health
Not something I’d ever envisaged doing, but I’m spending a lot of time making masks for friends, family and neighbours. They have proved to be very popular so I thought I’d put them on here for wider sale. Not a money-making exercise (that just seems wrong) but I am raising money for the mental health charity, Mind. £3 from the sale of every mask goes directly to them.
I am grateful to all the YouTubers who have kindly put on tutorials on how to make the masks. The one I found to be most successful was from a lady called Liz. I could not have bettered it, it is so detailed. Click here for a link to it.
For those who don’t want to make their own I am selling mine for £6 each, with £3 of that going to the very worthwhile charity, Mind. Various colours and patterns available, plains, check, tartan, floral. If you want to buy, email me with details of how many you’d like and I’ll send photos of what is available and get them to you asap. Postage in the UK is free.
The masks are individually handmade, include a wire insert for a close fit across the nose, a filter pocket, they are reusable and therefore eco-friendly and are machine washable. Please note that they are not, of course, medical grade masks.
