Level 2 Workshop
You will need a basic knowledge of sewing and know how to thread a machine, sew straight lines and turn corners.
This basic lightweight tote bag has appliqué detail and an inner pocket. You will learn the techniques of how to make the bag, make strong handles and create a neat professional finish. The handles are top-stitched with a contrasting colour.
The base fabric is unbleached calico. The appliqué can be 
a bird, a cat, a seagull or you can bring your own ideas and fabric. A word of warning though, small shapes are tricky to get perfect. The bigger the appliqué the easier it is to apply.
Three hour workshop, including all materials: £45
Morning (10am-1pm) or evening (6.30-9.30pm) workshop.
Amersham based workshops need a minimum of two people to run. Workshops in your home need a minimum of 4 people to run. Per person cost is the same but please add £30 per workshop for travel.
