Chevron top – Sewing Bee Pattern Challenge Week 1

Week 1 of my ‘Sewing Bee Pattern Challenge’.

Pleased with how this has turned out. I used a Merchant and Mills loose weave stripe linen. It certainly moved a lot when cut on the bias. I modified the Sewoverit Susie top pattern – no sleeves and no collar and added a centre seam front and back. To add a bit of interest I used some leftover floral cotton lawn for the neck facing and sleeve binding.

A great, straightforward top to make. Skill level 2.
